Bereavement Services and Information
Losing a loved one is an incredibly difficult and challenging experience. UCSF Medical Center has a number of resources available to help you with the most common and confusing decisions faced by families and friends after the death of a loved one.
Social workers can provide emotional support and assist with referrals to counseling and support groups. Chaplains from many faiths are available for spiritual guidance. Our Patient Relations Department can help with planning after the death of a loved one.
