Enterocutaneous Fistula
Signs and Symptoms

Enterocutaneous fistulas (ECFs) can cause contents of the intestines or stomach to leak through a wound or opening in the skin. It also can cause:

  • Dehydration
  • Diarrhea
  • Malnutrition
