John Muir Health

The collaboration between UCSF Health and John Muir Health started in 2015 with a commitment to provide premier care across a number of medical specialties and to help you navigate your health care journey.

In June 2018, we opened an outpatient center in Berkeley. Berkeley Outpatient Center gives patients in Berkeley, Oakland, Emeryville and surrounding areas access to top primary care providers; leading experts in a wide range of specialties; and urgent care, lab and imaging services. John Muir Health and UCSF Health physicians and staff share knowledge and coordinate treatment to provide the best possible care and expertise for our patients.

To build on our growing collaboration, UCSF Health and John Muir Health opened a cancer center at the Berkeley Outpatient Center in February 2020. Our cancer network will be expanding, as we recently signed a letter of intent to develop a preeminent outpatient cancer center on the John Muir Health Walnut Creek Medical Center campus. Completion is expected in 2024.
