Golden Gate Urgent Care

In July 2017, UCSF Health signed an agreement with Golden Gate Urgent Care (GGUC) to collaborate in providing top-quality urgent care in six of GGUC's Bay Area locations. GGUC, founded in 2012 by two emergency physicians trained at UCSF, operates consumer-centric clinics with online appointment scheduling and a highly accessible patient portal. Co-medical directors from UCSF and GGUC now work together to provide convenient local access to the latest technology and treatment options for a variety of urgent health concerns.

The affiliation is part of UCSF's ongoing effort to meet the full spectrum of health needs for patients through a growing network of high-quality partnerships and providers in areas outside the traditional academic medical model of high-end specialty care.
