Dr. Seanna Grob is an orbit and oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgeon. She specializes in conditions and surgeries involving the eyelids, tear drainage system, orbits (the bony cavities containing the eyes) and the face.
Grob earned her medical degree at the University of California, San Diego, where she also earned a master of advanced study degree in clinical research, focused on the genetics of eye diseases. She completed a residency in ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School, where she subsequently served as chief resident and director of the ocular trauma service. She then completed a rigorous fellowship in oculoplastic surgery at the University of California, Irvine.
Grob is a co-editor of Management of Open Globe Injuries, a book on surgical treatment of eye trauma. She has also written numerous peer-reviewed articles on topics related to oculoplastic surgery and genetic eye diseases.
Outside of work, Grob loves spending time with her family and her labradoodle, Bodhi. She also enjoys Pilates, being outdoors, traveling and exploring new places.
