Dr. Rahul Seth is a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon who specializes in facial aesthetics and rejuvenation of the aging face, rhinoplasty and nasal airway surgery, treatment of facial paralysis and reconstruction for facial skin malignancies. His expertise includes free tissue transfer, a technique for replacing removed body tissue with tissue from elsewhere on the patient's body.
Seth's research interests include outcomes for patients treated with advanced techniques in head and neck reconstruction.
Seth earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester. He completed a five-year surgical residency in otolaryngology (disorders of the nose, throat and other structures of the head and neck) at the Cleveland Clinic. He completed further subspecialty training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Seth has a background in engineering, and he has designed and patented new technologies used to diagnose and treat head and neck diseases. His research has won several national awards as well as laboratory grant funding, and he has published numerous medical articles in his field.
