Come on: this Doctor is one of the finest I've been treated by

I was never seen and paid a co-pay for never seeing anyone. I would love to be refunded! I pay a month out of my own pocket for health care to be sure I can get into UCSF then pay another just to go to the office. I would expect better care attention and concern for my health than I got at this visit.

I need to change care to UCLA because of my location and he said he can't be my Dr. But I knew that he is retiring. He steered me in the right direction. He was helpful in problem solving the fact the he had difficulty hearing me was very distracting for him.

For the time-being no further treatments are necessary.I wish I could recommend Dr. Kaplan but he has earned through a long and illustrious career retirement. I'm relieved to be able to meet with him at least one more time. If I was aware of anyone who needed his valuable opinion I would recommend they contact the team he lead.

I've recommended UCSF and Dr Kaplan many times to family and friends. I'm happy for his upcoming retirement. UCSF is losing a great resource but still gets to keep him part time.

I appreciate that Dr. Kaplan considers what's going on with me as an entire person rather than just considering my cancer.
