Dr. Jacqueline Nemer is an emergency care doctor who specializes in caring for patients of all ages with conditions that pose an immediate risk to their health.
Nemer's research investigates ways to improve safety and quality for both patients and health care providers.
Nemer earned her medical degree from the Ohio State University College of Medicine. She completed a residency in emergency medicine at Christiana Care Health System and advanced training in teaching and simulation at Harvard University.
Nemer is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and member of the Society of Academic Emergency Medicine.
Throughout her career, Nemer has worked nationally and internationally as an emergency doctor and teacher of emergency skills. Her focus in the educational arena is creating training sessions for doctors to master and review all the important procedures required in any emergency situation. She has received multiple awards for teaching, and served as the director of dozens of emergency courses for national academic meetings, as well as regional and UCSF educational programs.
When she is not enjoying the fast pace of her work, Nemer spends her free time at a slower pace. She enjoys time with family and friends, San Francisco Bay water sports and hikes, and endless home renovation projects.
