    About our process
    Dec 17, 2022
The care provider never mentioned the effect of radiology studies (UCSF where radiology was done is 3 hours from my home) on the procedure - yea or nay - which he ordered on whether or not the procedure was needed. So I am assuming it will not be done.

The doctor was rude and hard to communicate with. He kept interrupting us when we tried to answer his questions. I was barely able to finish one whole sentence without being stopped or re-directed. Also we were blamed for not providing him the necessary information however the full medication list was submitted to UCSF through a phone call one day before the meeting and the critical medical history was also submitted during the e-check process. We understand that the doctor might be too busy to read it but it's unfair for us to be blamed. Overall an unpleasant conversation.

Dr. Hsia is very thorough. He always carefully looks at EKG and reviewed all the details and prognosis with me even when sometimes I ask very simple stupid questions. He constantly assures me that I am in good hands and no need to worry too much. We feel his expertise dedication and care made a big difference in our hearts.

My cardiologist felt that I should speak with Dr. Hsia to determine if I should still take digoxin. Dr. Hsia said that my cardiologist should make that decision. My care providers need to a clear understanding between themselves as to who is responsible for prescribing what.

Even the person who arranged for follow up care-appointments was confused about what was meant to be done

Dr Hsia is extremely thorough. He recommended that I receive a heart procedure which he described as elective but since it was elective I told him I wanted to think about and and research it online. The next day someone called to schedule the procedure. If it's elective I don't feel someone should have called me.
